The Museum of Northern History will host an exhibition, from June 3 to July 7, of artwork, which features the community of Swastika. We have a few paintings of areas of Swastika in our collection; however, if there are people who have paintings of scenes in Swastika, we would like to hear from them and perhaps borrow the paintings for this exhibit.
Please call 568-8800.

John Savage wrote to a committee member. . . 'upon seeing the pic, on the website, of the old pumphouse I thought you might be interested in a picture painted by my mother Dorothy Savage
It was painted from the
pumphouse looking up the river
The rock on the right is the fishing rock used by many youngsters and oldsters in those days.'
That gives me a thought, is there any more artwork of Swastika? If so, send it to us.
