Welcome to the KL Community
Who is the KL Community?
The KL Community was first seen in late 2003 under a different domain. (IXNL.COM). A few years later, Jon Lehti offered the domain of mileofgold.com, and since then we have resided within this domain. It began as an accident, in Eindhoven (NL). While surfing the 'net, the webmaster (Stan Dickinson) found that there wasn't much information about KL online.
Over the Christmas holidays of 2003 he sat down, and started a website about Kirkland Lake. It was a full 5 pages, including the contact page.
It attracted the interest of a few local KL'ers, & Expats who wanted to contribute material for the site.
. . . and so it grew.
Anyone can write an article, so have a go, and send it to us. The KL Community depends on your input, so if you have something interesting for the site, take the time to document it, and send it to us.
